What major change, to ancient Egypt, did Amenhotep IV make? What affect did it have on the civilization?
The major change that Amenhotep IV brought to ancient Egypt was that he changed the religion. Amenhotep IV wanted his people to worship the god Aten and only Aten. After, his five or six years into his reign, Amenhotep IV changed his name to Akhenaten. Akhenaten wanted the god Amun's name to be removed from every temple. This affected the civilization because they could no longer worship any of the gods they believed in. Although Akhenaten cut the gods from the temples, only the royal family worshiped Aten. This major change affected the priests. Akhenaton made the major change of only having Royal Families worship

Why was the Middle Kingdom period a "golden age" for Egypt?
The Middle Kingdom period was a "golden age" for Egypt because for example, Amenhotep III conquered more land which made Egypt become bigger and bigger. Also, because there were more land, more people came and settled in Egypt. More people meant more resources, and mining expeditions. Egypt became more successful and wealthy.
Why can the exchange of "envoys" be considered a major development in ancient Egypt?
The exchange of envoys can be considered a major development to ancient Egypt because it was the first time multiple nations worked together for one goal.
There are a few theories to how the pyramids were built. Research a few of the strategies that historians believe the Egyptians used to build these ancient wonders. Describe advancements in math and technology that were developed to build these tombs.
Ancient Egyptians made advancements because of the pyramids. Ancient Egyptians wanting the pyramids to face north, made them advanced in astronomy. They invented fractions and learned to add, subtract, divide, etc. They also made numbers based on 10. Theories of how pyramids were built includes dragging stones on sleds, possibly with the ground wetted beforehand, or rolling them using a type of cradle.
Some people even believe that Egyptians used supernatural powers to lift the stones! The truth is that nobody knows for sure how pyramids were built.
